Burak Başarır was appointed as the CEO of Anadolu Group
Burak Başarır, who has worked at Anadolu Group for 26 years, has been appointed as the CEO of Anadolu Group. He started his new role on April 1, 2024.
Burak Başarır, who has held increasing responsibilities within Anadolu Group for 26 years, has become the CEO of the Group, which operates in 20 countries with 90 facilities and nearly 100,000 employees.
Institutional Investor selected him as “The Best CEO” for three consecutive years
Burak Başarır studied International Business and Computer Science at American River College, followed by Business Administration at California State University of Sacramento. He graduated from the Middle East Technical University with a degree in Business in 1995 and joined Coca-Cola İçecek (CCI) in 1998. Taking on various roles with increasing management responsibilities, he was promoted to CFO in 2005. Başarır led the initial public offering of CCI and the financial merger with CCI-Efes Invest. From 2010 to 2013, he served as the Regional President for Türkiye, managing CCI's largest operation in terms of sales volume and revenue. In 2014, he was appointed CEO of Coca-Cola İçecek A.Ş., and since 2023, he has been serving as the Deputy CEO of Anadolu Group.
Başarır played a leadership role in transforming Coca-Cola İçecek into a multinational company with production facilities in 12 countries, spanning a wide geography from Turkey to the Chinese border. During his tenure as CEO of Coca-Cola İçecek, Institutional Investor, one of the world’s most prestigious corporate investor publications, recognized him as ‘Best CEO’ for three consecutive years. He is also a member of the Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen's Association (TÜSİAD).
