Kamil Süleyman Yazıcı is the new Chairman of Anadolu Group

Kamil Süleyman Yazıcı, who has held various positions within Anadolu Group since 2000 and has served as Vice Chairman across the Group and its subsidiaries since 2017, has been appointed Chairman of Anadolu Group.

Kamil Süleyman Yazıcı, who has held various positions within Anadolu Group since 2000 and has served as Vice Chairman across the Group and its subsidiaries since 2017, has been appointed Chairman of Anadolu Group.

Tuncay Özilhan has handed over his role as Chairman of Anadolu Group to Kamil Süleyman Yazıcı, who has served as Vice Chairman since 2017. During his 18-year tenure as Chairman, Tuncay Özilhan played a pivotal role in shaping Anadolu Group into one of the most prominent forces in the Turkish economy, with over 100,000 employees in 20 countries, nearly 100 production facilities across 8 sectors, and more than 80 companies. He will continue to support the Group in his new role as Honorary Chairman of Anadolu Group.

At the General Assembly held on April 21, the new Board of Anadolu Group was established. Talip Altuğ Aksoy was appointed Vice Chairman. The newly formed Board also includes the following members: Tuğban İzzet Aksoy, Beliz Çevik Chappuie, Mustafa Ali Yazıcı, İ. İzzet Özilhan, Türkan Özilhan, Rasih Engin Akçakoca, İzzet Karaca, Ahmet Cemal Dördüncü, Bekir Ağırdır and Hüseyin Faik Açıkalın.

Stating that he is passing the torch he inherited from the founders of Anadolu Group to the third-generation representatives of the founding families with complete confidence in the future of Anadolu Group, Tuncay Özilhan said: “With a leadership model grounded not in individuals but in institutional values and collective intelligence, I am confident that we will continue to achieve even greater success in the years to come. Kamil Süleyman Yazıcı began his career at Anadolu Group

Kamil Süleyman Yazıcı, who is the grandson of Kamil Yazıcı - one of the founders of Anadolu Group, holds a BA degree in Marketing from Emory University Goizueta Business School (2000), an MBA degree from American Institute of Business and Economics (2005) and has completed the GMP program at the Harvard Business School (2017). Yazıcı started his Anadolu Group career in year 2000 in the Finance Presidency as Assistant Finance Specialist and resumed his career in Anadolu Efes Russia Beer operations during 2002-2011 where he held multiple roles as Marketing Manager, Logistics Manager, Supply Chain Director, Business Development Director and finally led a pan-Russian effort to re-structure the sales organization for greater efficiency and effectiveness. In 2011, he was appointed as General Manager of Efes Vitanta in Moldova and continued this role until 2014. In 2014, he was appointed as Market Development Director responsible for all international markets where the group did not operate locally and held this position until 2017. Since 2017- 2025, Kamil Yazıcı served as Vice-Chairman of Anadolu Group holding and subsidiary Boards.  In addition, he serves as Board Member for TAİK (Turkish-American Business Council), TOGG (Turkish National Auto Initiative), HBS Alumnus (Harvard Business School’s Alumni Board) and is the Vice-Chairman of KYYDAS (the Kamil Yazıcı Family Trust). He is also a member of TÜSİAD (Turkish Industry & Business Association). 

Tuncay Özilhan will continue to support the Group as Honorary Chairman

Tuncay Özilhan studied in Saint-Joseph High School, then graduated from the Faculty of Economics of İstanbul University. He received his MBA degree from Long Island University in the United States. He started his career in 1977 as General Director of Erciyas Brewery and has undertaken responsibilities such as Coordinator of the Beer Group and General Coordinator of Anadolu Group. Tuncay Özilhan acted as the CEO of Anadolu Group from 1984 to February 2017. He is the Chairman of Anadolu Group since May 2007. He has also been serving as Chairman of Anadolu Foundation as well as various Group companies. Tuncay Özilhan served as the Chairman of TÜSİAD (Turkish Industry & Business Association) between 2001 to 2003, as the Chairman of its High Advisory Council between 2015-2023 and became its Honorary President in 2024.

Özilhan’s other responsibilities include; Member of The Board at the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), Honorary Consul for the Republic of Estonia and President of Anadolu Efes Sports Club. He also served as Chairman of the Turkish – Russian Business Council at DEİK. Tuncay Özilhan holds a Ministerial Medal given by the Ministry Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia, a Service Medal given by the Republic of Kazakhstan and “The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star”, constituting one of the most important orders awarded by the Japanese government. Özilhan will continue to support the Group as Honorary Chairman.
