Anadolu Kafkasya Enerji Yatırımları A.Ş. was established in December 2009 with the aim of developing the Paravani Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP) project in Georgia and realizing new investments in the renewable energy field.

The company's subsidiary in Georgia, Georgia-Urban Enerji LLC, completed the Paravani HPP project in 2014, located in the Akhalkalaki region of Georgia, 25 km from the Turkish border.

With an installed capacity of 90 MW, Paravani HPP generates an average of 375 million kWh of electricity annually.

100% of the shares of Georgia-Urban Energy LLC, headquartered in Tbilisi, belong to Anadolu Kafkasya Enerji Yatırımları A.Ş.

The electricity generated at Paravani HPP is transmitted to both Georgia and Türkiye power grids. In the history of Turkish Republic, Paravani HPP is the first investment that uses the natural resources of a neighboring country to fulfill energy demand of Türkiye.
